Data center development across Southeast Asia continues to grow in response to rising demand for cloud services, digitalization, and AI applications. As rack densities increase, the industry is paying greater attention to cooling, energy efficiency, water management, and reliable operations.

The region’s tropical climate presents particular challenges for data center design and operation. High temperatures and humidity can affect cooling performance and energy use, while power availability, water resources, compliance requirements, and project delivery schedules also need to be considered during expansion.

The Southeast Asia Data Center Cooling & Thermal Management Summit 2027 will take place in Singapore on February 24–25, 2027.
